Decolonizing Social Innovation

Decolonizing Social Innovation is a 1 day conference-style retreat dedicated to the idea of dismantling the colonizing practices inherited from our shared colonial past. This will be a day of exploring how the history of colonization manifests in socially innovative practices today. We also learn practical measures we can take to engage in intentional cultural shifts to decolonize businesses, products, and daily operations.

ReIgnite: Soul of Work

This program is designed for individuals at various career stages seeking to apply their professional skills and life experience in new ways as agents of positive social change. The program facilitates personal assessment, incorporates spiritual practice and social analysis, and offers opportunities for immersive social change field work to refine and hone a participant’s contribution to social transformation.

Bootcamp & Accelerator

The Ignite Bootcamp & Accelerator programs, designed with our partners, assist faith and community leaders in ideating, developing, and launching a financially sustainable model for their organizations that engages community and is, by definition, a social enterprise.

Building Authentic Relationships

This training focuses on how to have empathetic and constructive discussions about difficult topics such as race, mental health, and immigration. We will be partnering with Impact Hub in Berkeley to present this workshop in 2017 and are exploring partnerships with other educational institutions and with tech companies in the Bay Area to host continued discussions.

Inspiration for a Better World

This workshop, which has been presented at several universities and high schools in the Bay Area, helps students articulate values and cultivate an ongoing spiritual practice that inspires, informs and sustains long-term work for a better world. Attendees learn way to deconstruct cultural and religious contexts, experience exercises in values articulation and discuss ways that spiritual practice supports social change as well as those working for it.
