What classes does this program offer?
There are 19 class sessions offered in this program (For more information, please click here to learn which classes are offered). The program includes 60% academic and 40% experiential learning content through various learning activities such as lectures, hands-on workshops, coaching sessions, panel discussion, company visits, and networking events. The main program content focuses are:

Who are the instructors for this program?
For this program, there will be 15 to 20 different instructors who are academic faculty members currently teaching at Stanford, UC Berkeley, University of San Francisco and Pacific School of Religion/Ignite Institute as well as leaders and industry experts in Silicon Valley. Who are the students for this program?
This program is designed to accommodate both for-profit and non-profit organization professionals and executives who want to obtain new knowledge and skillsets to effectively lead and sustain their team and organization for a positive impact. We intend to have a cohort of 20 to 25 professionals and executives in this program.
How often does this program meet?
Students will meet on campus every other Saturday (or on Saturdays every two weeks) during the 4-month program duration. The program also includes other experiential learning activities, such as company visits and networking events once a week to build a strong network among the program cohort.

Program Tuition & Academic Credits
What is the program tuition?
Tuition is $7,000 per student. If your employer sponsors more than one student for this program, please contact our office at 510-849-5321 to discuss a discounted tuition rate or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. As an individual student without any sponsorship from an employer, please also contact our office for scholarship opportunities. Click here if you work with a nonprofit to see the sliding scale according to your organization’s size.
When is the deadline for tuition payment and how do I make a tuition payment?
The deadline for tuition payment is February 10, 2018; failure to meet the deadline will result in the forfeiture of your spot in the cohort. Tuition payment can be made via check, Paypal or credit card. Please make a note that tuition reimbursement can be requested only until January 30, 2018, so please ensure to inform the office about your participation cancellation prior to January 30, 2018.
What kind of academic credits will students receive at the end of this program?
Students will receive a Certificate of Leadership and Innovation for an Unpredictable Future and 9.5 CEU’s (Continuing Education Unit) credits that can be transferred to higher education institutions. Students will also receive partial transferable academic credits to other internal degree programs. For more information, please contact our office.
Program Requirements & Program Enrollment
What are the program requirements students need to meet in order to attend this program?
Students must meet one of the following minimum criteria to be able to attend this program:
- Master’s degree or higher with 5 years of professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of professional experience
- Associate’s degree with 10 years of professional experience
- High school diploma with 15+ years of professional experience

When is the deadline for application and how soon is it possible to know the acceptance of the program?
Priority deadline for Scholarship consideration is December 15, 2017. Last day to apply for this Certificate Program is January 30, 2018. Our admissions office will notify applicants about the admission decisions within 3 to 5 business days after submitting an application.

Program Student Recognition
What will the program closing be like?
There are two final projects students must complete to receive the Certificate in Leadership and Innovation for an Unpredictable Future. The first, a leadership vision pitch, is an individual project. The Innovative Leadership Impact Project is a group project on challenges provided by clients.
What kind of recognition will a student winner from leadership vision pitch presentation competition and a group winner from Innovative Leadership Impact Project Presentation competition?
Student / group winners from these final competitions on the last day of the program will receive a special award and a special recognition via media coverage. For more information, please contact our office.
